这次期中考试中,headhand, eareraser, who are youhow are you?

we are the world ,we are the future
someone said “we are reading the
first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are
infinite”. i don’t know who wrote these words, but
i’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything
we want it to be. we are all in the position of the farmers. if we plant a good
seed ,we reap a good harvest. if we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at
all.
we are young. “how to spend the
youth?” it is a meaningful question. to answer it, first i have to
ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” youth is
not a time of life, it’s a state of mind. it’s not a matter
of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. it’s the matter of the
will. it’s the freshneof the deep spring of life.
a poet said “to see a world in a
grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your
hand, and eternity in an hour. several days ago, i had a chance to listen to a
lecture. i learnt a lot there. i’d like to share it with all of you.
let’s show our right palms. we can see three lines that show how our
love.career and life is. i have a short line of life.
what about yours? i wondered whether we
could see our future in this way. well, let’s make a fist. where is
our future?
where is our love, career, and life? tell
me.yeah, it is in our hands. it is held in ourselves.
we all want the future to be better than
the past. but the future can go better itself. don’t cry because it
is over, smile because it happened. from the past, we’ve learnt that
the life is tough, but we are tougher. we’ve learnt that we can’t
choose how we feel, but we can choose what about it. failure doesn’t
mean you don’t have it, it does mean you should do it in a different
way. failure doesn’t mean you should give up, it does mean you must
try harder.
as what i said at the beginning,
“we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose
pages are infinite”. the past has gone. nothing we do will change it.
but the future is in front of us. believe that what we give to the world, the
world will give to us. and from today on, let’s be the owners of
ourselves, and speak out “we are the world, we are the
future.”
the simple english fable:a little horse crossing the river
there are an old horse and a little horse
on a farm. one day the old horse asks the little horse to send the wheat to the
mill. the little horse is very happy. he carries the wheat and runs toward the
mill. but there is a river in front of the little horse. he stops and does not
know what to do next. just then aunt cow is passing by.
the little horse asks, “aunt cow, please
tell me. can i cross the river ”
aunt cow answers, “it is not deep, you can
cross it.”
when the little horse begins to cross the
river, a little squirrel shouts at him, “little horse, don’t cross it, you will
be drowned. yesterday one of my friends was drowned in this river.”
the little horse is very afraid. finally he
decides to go home and ask his mother.
the old horse asks, “why do you take the
wheat back what’s wrong with you my child.”
the little horse answers sadly, “there is a
river in front of me. aunt cow said it was not deep. but the little squirrel
said it was deep. what shall i do ”
the old horse says, “my child, you should

the river by yourself. if you do not try, how do you know the river is deep or
not ”
the little horse carries the wheat and
returns to the riverside. at last, he succeeds in crossing the river. now, he
knows how deep the river is.

are many people who think that wealth is better than health. i used to think so
until one day i read a story about howard hughes. he was an american
billionaire who got anything he wanted. however, in the last twenty years of
his life, his health began to deteriorate and he was miserable. he had the best
doctors and nurses. however, he could still find no relief. i realized that
health is worth all the money in the world. if you have millions of dollars but
your health is poor, you will not be able to do what you want to do. so i would
like to say don’t hurt
yourself trying to make money. instead take care of your body and be happy with
what you do have. health is more important.
which is more important, health or wealth?
it is a hot topic among people. i can hardly answer this question. i didn’t realize that health is more
imporant until i saw a businessman’s real life.
a successful businessman, one of my father’s friends, devoted himseff to his
business. he works from morning to night every day. there is no weekends in his
mind. he often says, “i must earn much money so that i can get what i want.
“lately, he is ill. though he has a lot of money, he can do nothing but lie in
the hospital’s bed.
so i think health is more important than
do nothing if they are always in poor health, let alone happiness. no matter we

dream is beautiful, it is the bottom of my
heart the most beautiful expectations, so the dream also become our long-held
beliefs.
dream is the sun, it makes people from
impetuous to solid, from the hesitation to the firm, and on the road to
success.
dream is powerful, it is the life source of
forward momentum; lofty dreams can inspire a life all potential.because of this
we will go to dream, to grasp the dream, the pursuit of dreams.
our new president xi jinping came up with
the dream of the chinese nation’s rejuvenation on december 29, 2014. he said:
the chinese dream is a dream of national strength prosperity and people’s
happiness. our people have an ardent love for life. they wish to have better
education, more stable jobs, more income, greater social security , better
medical and health care, improvedhousing conditionsand better environment, they
want their children to grow well, have ideal jobs and lead a more enjoyable
life. to meet their desire for a happy life is our mission."
i always ask myself what can i do for our
great chinese dream ?as we all know that the wiserthe youths are ,the wiser the
nation will be;the wealthier
the youths are ,the wealthier the nation will be;the stronger the youths are ,the stronger the nation will be. here
the word wealthy means: enriching our knowledge reserve. as a new generation of
youth , every one here shouldering the great historicalmissionof making china
powerful and strong. you may say that this may exaggerate our role, but i want
to say you are wrong. if i am a little screw our great dream may be a
multifunction and complex machine. through this example i just want to say i am
very tinybut i am indispensable .
i believe that as long as all of our young
people unite together and perform our own functionsthat study hard in school
and work hard after we graduating from university . we must be able to achieve
our great dream meanwhile enrich ourselves unwittingly!
my dream, our dream, to improve the chinese
dream. let us unite together to realize chinese nation’s great rejuvenation to
struggle! to you the day of my dreams to realize, is standing at the time of
china.
"a river billowing, breeze blows
on both sides......" whenever i sang the song"my
motherland and i", there is a kind
of inexplicable excitement brimming with my heart.actually, our motherland is
standing in the east of the world with a new gesture. looking back and
forward,i am always choked up with emotions by our great motherland.
possessing five thousand years of
civilization history, our motherland,s(谢谢你访问91考试网wWw.91exam.org)he have invented the first piece of paper in the

great wall of ancient with the same invention...we can’t forget the humiliation history so
far.
in every period of history, the rise and
fall of the motherland always affects our heart
deeply.countless ancient chinese with lofty
idears dedicate their youth and even life to develop the bright future of our
motherland. the great scientist qian xuesen was famous for beingthe chairman of
american air force sceintific group in early 1940s,but never did he forget his
poor and backward motherland.he often talked to his friends”i am a chinese, and
my career is in china,my achievement is in china,my home is in china.”it is
because there being such a number of heroes shouting”i am a chinese “,loudly
singing “with our flesh and blood build up our new great wall” marching forward
courageously can our nation be capable of passing the ordeal of infernal
fire, raising strong head, and finally being a newborn country.
the great chinese nation marches forward
continuously with mao zedong’s thought, deng xiaoping’s the one country two systems, jiang zemin
‘s three representatives.the return of hongkong in july 1, 1997 has wiped out
the chinese nation’s hundred years of humiliation. in december 20, 1999 the
chinese government has resumed the exercise of sovereignty over macao.one more
children has returned to the motherland! and such had established another
important motherland’s reunification milepost.
looking to the future, looking at the new
century’s style.the
world is developing, our motherland is taking off! motherland issued her voice
of justice once again on the un security council, she became the messenger of
peace in the african jungle, how many people there are to stick to and defend
her!
our national anthem is echoing at the
olympic games memorial, our national flag is flapping on the south pole, how
many people there are to be proud!
our ancient civilizations sends out the
radiant light once again!
bright flag can testify. i dyed the color
of the motherland in the national flag; my heart was melted to the national
anthem;my motherland and i forever.

key positions were filled yesterday. i am submitting a further list to the king
tonight. i hope to complete the appointment of principal ministers during
tomorrow.
the appointment of other ministers usually
takes a little longer. i trust when parliament meets again this part of my task
will be completed and that the administration will be complete in all respects.
i considered it in the public interest to
suggest to the speaker that the house should be summoned today. at the end of
today’s proceedings, the adjournment of the house will be proposed until may 2l
with provision for earlier meeting if need be. business for that will be
notified to m. p. ‘s at the earliest opportunity.
i now invite the house by a resolution to
record its approval of the steps taken and declare its confidence in the new
government. the resolution:
“that this house welcomes the formation of
a government representing the united and inflexible resolve of the nation to
prosecute the war with germany to a victorious conclusion.”
to form an administration of this scale and
complexity is a serious undertaking in itself. but we are in the preliminary
phase of one of the greatest battles in history. we are in action at any other
points-in norway and in holland-and we have to be prepared in the
mediterranean. the air battle is continuing, and many preparations have to be
made here at home.
in this crisis i think i may be pardoned if
i do not address the house at any length today, and i hope that any of my
friends and colleagues or for mer colleagues who are affected by the political
reconstruction will make all allowances for any lack of ceremony with which it
has been necessary to act.
i say to the house as i said to ministers
who have joined this government, i have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears
and sweat. we have before us an ordeal of the most grievous kind. we have
before us many, many months of struggle and suffering.
you ask, what is our policy? i say it is to
wage war by land, sea and air. war with all our might and with all the strength
god has given us, and to wage war against a monstrous tyranny never surpassed
in the dark and lamentable catalogue of human crime. that is our policy.
you ask, what is our aim? i can answer in
one word, it is victory. victory at all costs-victory in spite of all
terrors-victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory
there is no survival.
let that be realized. no survival for the
british empire, no survival for all that the british empire has stood for, no
survival for the urge, the impulse of the ages, that mankind shall move forward
toward his goal.
i take up my task in buoyancy and hope. i
feel sure that our cause will not be suffered to fail among men.
i feel entitled at this juncture, at this
time, to claim the aid of all and to say, “come then, let us go forward
together with our united strength.”
on friday evening last i received from his
majesty the mission to form a new administration.it was the evident will of
parliament and the nation that this should be conceived on the broadest
possible basis and that it should include all parties.i have already completed
the most important part of this task. a war cabinet has been formed of five
members, representing, with the labor, opposition and liberals, the unity of
the nation.it was necessary that this should be done in one single day on

is the mother of skills(重复是技能之母)"。
