we are the world ,we are the future

someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. i don’t know who wrote these words, but i’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. we are all in the position of the farmers. if we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. if we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.

we are young. “how to spend the youth?” it is a meaningful question. to answer it, first i have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” youth is not a time of life, it’s a state of mind. it’s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. it’s the matter of the will. it’s the freshneof the deep spring of life.

a poet said “to see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour. several days ago, i had a chance to listen to a lecture. i learnt a lot there. i’d like to share it with all of you. let’s show our right palms. we can see three lines that show how our love.career and life is. i have a short line of life.

what about yours? i wondered whether we could see our future in this way. well, let’s make a fist. where is our future?

where is our love, career, and life? tell me.yeah, it is in our hands. it is held in ourselves.

we all want the future to be better than the past. but the future can go better itself. don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened. from the past, we’ve learnt that the life is tough, but we are tougher. we’ve learnt that we can’t choose how we feel, but we can choose what about it. failure doesn’t mean you don’t have it, it does mean you should do it in a different way. failure doesn’t mean you should give up, it does mean you must try harder.

as what i said at the beginning, “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. the past has gone. nothing we do will change it. but the future is in front of us. believe that what we give to the world, the world will give to us. and from today on, let’s be the owners of ourselves, and speak out “we are the world, we are the future.”

英语关于健康演讲稿——health的重要性带翻译来自http://www.91exam.orgthere are many people who think that wealth is better than health. i used to think so until one day i read a story about howard hughes. he was an american billionaire who got anything he wanted. however, in the last twenty years of his life, his health began to deteriorate and he was miserable. he had the best doctors and nurses. however, he could still find no relief. i realized that health is worth all the money in the world. if you have millions of dollars but your health is poor, you will not be able to do what you want to do. so i would like to say dont hurt yourself trying to make money. instead take care of your body and be happy with what you do have. health is more important.

which is more important, health or wealth? it is a hot topic among people. i can hardly answer this question. i didnt realize that health is more imporant until i saw a businessmans real life.

a successful businessman, one of my fathers friends, devoted himseff to his business. he works from morning to night every day. there is no weekends in his mind. he often says, “i must earn much money so that i can get what i want. “lately, he is ill. though he has a lot of money, he can do nothing but lie in the hospitals bed.

so i think health is more important than wealth“英语关于健康演讲稿——health的重要性带翻译来自http://www.91exam.org. people can do nothing if they are always in poor health, let alone happiness. no matter we are rich or not, we can not ignore the importance of health.

china dream, with each one of us.

dream is beautiful, it is the bottom of my heart the most beautiful expectations, so the dream also become our long-held beliefs.

dream is the sun, it makes people from impetuous to solid, from the hesitation to the firm, and on the road to success.

dream is powerful, it is the life source of forward momentum; lofty dreams can inspire a life all potential.because of this we will go to dream, to grasp the dream, the pursuit of dreams.

our new president xi jinping came up with the dream of the chinese nation’s rejuvenation on december 29, 2014. he said: the chinese dream is a dream of national strength prosperity and people’s happiness. our people have an ardent love for life. they wish to have better education, more stable jobs, more income, greater social security , better medical and health care, improvedhousing conditionsand better environment, they want their children to grow well, have ideal jobs and lead a more enjoyable life. to meet their desire for a happy life is our mission."

i always ask myself what can i do for our great chinese dream ?as we all know that the wiserthe youths are ,the wiser the nation will bethe wealthier the youths are ,the wealthier the nation will bethe stronger the youths are ,the stronger the nation will be. here the word wealthy means: enriching our(请收藏好范文 WwW.91exam.org) knowledge reserve. as a new generation of youth , every one here shouldering the great historicalmissionof making china powerful and strong. you may say that this may exaggerate our role, but i want to say you are wrong. if i am a little screw our great dream may be a multifunction and complex machine. through this example i just want to say i am very tinybut i am indispensable .

i believe that as long as all of our young people unite together and perform our own functionsthat study hard in school and work hard after we graduating from university . we must be able to achieve our great dream meanwhile enrich ourselves unwittingly!

my dream, our dream, to improve the chinese dream. let us unite together to realize chinese nation’s great rejuvenation to struggle! to you the day of my dreams to realize, is standing at the time of china.

choice and process

good morning, ladies and gentlemen:

my topic is about choice and process today. a research shows that a man has to make 73 choices one day.with so many choices one day,

people easily get so confused and afraid of making wrong choice that they hesitate and finally miss the true part of life. in my opinion, the following part is of much more importance than the choice. there is no absolute right or wrong choice but wonderful or boring life, which the process makes the difference.

life is a box of chocolate .you never know what you will get.

forrest gump made no decision by and for himself ,but he accomplished great success with his strong will in the process. the process is not the road itself but the attitudes and feelings ,the caution, courage and persistance we have as we encounter new experience and unexpected obstacles. take myself as an example,i changed my major when i

became a postgraduate. after the choice, days have been harsh for me . i cannot understand the new lessons at all. for they are closely related to mathmatics which i learned nothing about before. however the belief that this is the great chance for me to experience new ideas and challenge myself, i persisted. i asked for help from every channel and reorganized my life.gradually i could understand some parts and even found that

maths interesting, i learned to act instead of complaining. in retrospect, the choice left no trace in my mind but the happiness and bitterness of the past four months becomes an unforgetable experience in my life.

no matter what the choice is, enjoy the process. in the process, your potential will be inspired and new discoveries ,improvement and progress will come to you. these are the most beautiful sceneries and only on the way can you see it. these make your life colorful.

there is no need and i dont want to judge whether it right or wrong for me to be here. but i congratulate to myself for i gain and enjoy this fantastic experience. so my dear friends ,never worry about your choice and enjoy the process .i am sure you will get something new and interestingafter you chose to come here. thank you!

good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, my name is zhang botao, i am from shaanxi university of science & technology.

when i stand here to deliver my speech, i’m a little worried about my cell phone and also yours. i’m afraid that one of them may suddenly ring loudly so that my fascinating speech will probably be interrupted by simens, nokia, motorola or panda. and this is just one possible result caused by economic globalization. no matter if you admit it or not, we are now all in a global village and economic globalization is here to stay.

nowadays, economic globalization is being referred to more and more. i don’t know who first invented the word, but undoubtedly, it is steadily and inexorably becoming more and more common and important. it covers our world so quickly, just like influenza. as charles darwin noted: survival of the fittest. in order to adapt to this great and global reform, i think, there must be something important and urgent we need to do, for every nation, every corporation, and even to every person.

first, take me for an example. just ten years ago, i did not know what a computer was, let alone what it can do. but since 2014, i cannot live without my computer, just like i can’t live without my cell phone! of course, these great changes are derived from economic globalization, and the rapid development of china. for every chinese man like me, these rapid changes mean great challenge: because of economic globalization, many new technologies rushed into china without translation; because of economic globalization, many unknown software appeared on our desks; and, because of the economic globalization, we must hasten our rhythm of living, working and even resting. the speed of the development of china has been tremendously accelerated, so if we don’t want to be elapsed from this great tidal wave of development, we must understand the meaning of this phrase very clearly: one is never too old to learn.

second, to an enterprise in china, it also means a problem concerning survival. our entrance to wto has paved the way for many super universal corporation

s to enter the economic market of china. this means the competition in our domestic market will be much more brutal than ever before. if our state enterprises and other companies don’t adjust to this global reform and get used to the more and more cruel competition, surely they will be elapsed in this blood-red economic battle. if you want your company to stand up at last, i think the most important thing for you to do is that, “firm your confidence and welcome the great coming challenge.”

third, as globalization is gradually knitting separate national economies into a single one, if one nation would like to stand up and develop during these global changes, it must effectively carry out some economical and political reforms. for example, reducing the tax to attract more international organizations to invest in our country, or do some political reforms, to cater for some important international organizations. maintaining an average 8% economic increase rate per year needs not only effective and promising economic policy, but also the prudent leadership.

economic globalization brings us not only a great challenge, but also a great chance to develop. it brings us a great potential of international corporations and makes them take roots and develop in china. and this will create new job opportunities for our huge labor market. if we can strengthen ourselves and take the chance, i promise, china’s development will be hastened greatly, and china will become the leader of economic globalization of the world!

 good evening ,ladies and gentlemen:

thank you very much fou choosing to come in such a cold night.today my topic is about choice and process.a research shows that a man has to make 73 choices one day.with so many choices one day, people easily get so confused and afraid of making wrong choice that they hesitate and finally miss the true part of life. in my opinion, the following part is of much more importance than the choice. there is no absolute right or wrong choice but wonderful or boring life, which the process makes the difference.

tim: good morning folks, thanks for joining us. in light of the recent economic downturn, we thought we should pow-wow some ways we can conserve energy. this is henry peterson, a consultant with greenoffices inc.

henry: hi everyone. as tim mentioned, not only is saving energy good for the environment, it’s also a good way to keep costs down...and that’s a win-win situation for everyone. i’m sure some of you have suggestions for ways we could become “greener.” anyone?

faith: i think we could easily cut down on “vampire power.” our computers and other electronic devices actually continue to suck power, even when they are switched off.

h: good one! the online encyclopedia wikipedia claims that “vampire power” or “standby power” is responsible for using as much as 10% of electricity consumption.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

dana: we could unplug the equipment or put in power strips that can completely turn off power.

t: just imagine...we could save 10 or 15 % on our energy bill just by unplugging our computers!

h: and that’s just the beginning! you see these lights above us? these use led bulbs that are 10 times more efficient than the bulbs you are using in the rest of the office.

f: but they’re pretty pricey, aren’t they?

h: yes, they cost more, but you’ll find that they pay for themselves.

henry承认,led灯泡价格确实要贵一些,但是, they pay for themselves非常划算。

d: i’ve got one that will require a bit of sacrifice. we really don’t need to use bottled water for meetings. we could also get rid of paper cups for the water cooler and everyone could use their own mug instead.

f: ahhh.... i love bottled water.... but i agree, dana’s idea is certainly more environmentally friendly.

h: yep. sometimes going green does require that we change our mindset. it’s funny how many of us are very conscientious at home. we recycle and reuse, but when we get to the office, we sometimes become very wasteful.

good morning, dear teacher and my friends.

its a very intresting topic today.

i think my dad was a hero for me when i was a young child. we’d go fishing, walks, and other fun things for a kid.

every child has a good and great father, and so do i. my dad played a very important role in my daily life`````exactly speaking, in my past 16 years.

my father always stands in the center of my life from past till now and possibly in the future.

my family was rather poor when i was in my childhood. we didn’t have our own house and had to live in a shabby small room rented from my father’s factory. the room was so small that there was little space for people to walk. i didn’t have my own bed and had to sleep with my parents. this is terrible both for my parents and me.

but father made this all differenthe works very hard on his own business, now we have our own 2 housese, surly,i have my own room.and he take our family so much happiness, richer and richer.

when i was little, i did everything with my dad. you could always find me sitting on his knee or walking and doing everything with him. every night he would read me a bed time story and make the voices of each character.

i learnt a lot from my daddy. i learnt to never take things to seriously and to always smile.

like many other fathers, my dad and i also has generation gap. he is not good at or even cant work the computer. so when i sitting at the computer desk,he will say something like you should pay more attention to your study, dont waste time on the computer games , it will be bad for your eyes and so on. how can i- a computer fan – reduce time on computer? so i continue studying and playing on it

years pasted, my father is over 45 now. it is time for me to look after him and i

am sure i will do and we will live an even better life. and i will say,i really love you dad, cause you are the hero in my mind.

thank you so much!

say no to junk food

good morning, everybody!

boys and girls, listen up!

junk foods may cause hypertension

junk foods may increasevarious kinds of cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and obesity boys and girls, i am not standing here to scare you

eating healthy foods should start from the young

so let us start from today

let us say no to junk food

boys and girls, it is not a matter how long you could live

it is the quality of life that counts!

god bless everybody! bye!

ladies and gentlemen, good morning.

its my great honor to be here and i am very happy to see you all. thank you for being here. what i am going to talk about today is how to speak good english.

first of all, id like to talk about the importance of speaking good english and share my experience in learning english with you. as you know, english has become an international language. wherever you go, english is always commonly used. it is convenient to know the language. at the same time,

english may be the most important factor in deciding which countries are leaders in the future. the language of the most advanced management and technology is undoubtedly english. being able to absorb this information is really the key to the new century. in the 21century. we cant go there and speak our own language because nobody is going to learn it in order to

understand us. our asian rival, india, has surged ahead of other developing countries in information technology because of its superior english skills.

unless we are able to master english, we will not be able to get our population to use it and take advantage of the new economy. there is an urgent need to have a workforce which is proficient in the language in view of the information technology onslaught.

second, about learning english, i think laying a strong foundation is the first and most important step. in other words, you should read and speak english every day. memorizing new words and phrases is also helpful. of course, learning english takes some time, so dont be impatient. remember, rome wasnt built in a day. and then since english is not our native tongue, we must develop the muscles of your speech organs to produce unfamiliar sounds. when you read, read as loudly as possible, as clearly as possible and as quickly as possible. tongue muscles training is of importance in learning any foreign language.

third, if you want to speak good english, please dont care how poorly well you speak, only care about catching the chances to speak. you must enjoy losing face, just forget about your face. the more you speak, the better your english will become. the more mistakes you make, the more progress you will make. you must enjoy speaking poor english, because speaking is the only thing that will lead you towards success. dont give up. just try your best.

every time you move your mouth, your memory will deepen, your muscles will strengthen. you can make it.

i have made a considerable amounts of public english speaking in my life, i am often asked why the crazy english method is better than other methods or if the crazy english method will help all english learners.(内容来源好 范文网:WwW.91exam.org) my answer is, the method will help the english learners because it is a perfect match with the chinese principles of diligence, self-help and determination. mere exposure to english will not enable you to speak english. if you want to drive you have to get in the car and drive, if you want to dance you have to turn on the music and dance, if you want to swim you have to jump in the water and swim. in fact, swimming is the perfect comparison to learning english. you cant learn to swim by sitting in a room and reading books about swimming skills. in order to be a swimmer youve got to conquer you fear, youve got to survive and suck in water, yell for help, youve got to lose face many times before you can make it. but, to be a good swimmer youve got to practice again and again. to be a

great swimmer you have to practice for years until you can harmonize every part of your body and mind.

finally, i want to greet you and encourage you to seize this unique

opportunity to conquer english and make lifelong friends from all over our college. as you know, we are human beings ,not animals. we know what we want to do. we know our destiny is in our hands. with hard work and determination, we can do anything we set our mind to do. today, i will

accompany you every minute on this unique journey. i want you to open your heart, i want you to be devoted, i want you to be crazy, i want you to forget about your face, i want to open your mouth wildly, i want you conquer your laziness and all the other human weaknesses, i want you to overcome all the

“never say die, i’ve been down this road before. i’ll never quit, i’ll never lay down.” it’s the song named “win”. it tells us never say die.

seeing this topic, what first strikes my mind is the group of blind football players who won the silver medal at the beijing paralympics games. what they did shows the spirit of the old saying “never say die”. instead of giving up because of their blindness, they have redoubled their efforts and they did wonders.

never give up, even though there are many difficult things waiting for you. if you try your best, maybe there will be many successes behind you the next time.

i once read a book called “the count of monte cristo”. in the book, it says, all human wisdom is summed up in these two words, wait and hope. just try your best, wait for the success and hold on your hopes.

trying times will pass, as they always do. face the trouble heroically

and just have patience, your dreams will come true and you will surely win.

good morning ladies and gentleman. my name is miller. id like to talk to you today about the topic of traffic jams in shanghai. the purpose of this talk is to analysis the problem of traffic jams and try to make some advices in my view. i shall only take about four minutes of your times. ive divided my presentation into three parts.

first. status. yesterday, i went to xujiahui. i start my route at 1:00pm. when i arrived home, it was 8:00pm. i only use nearly 3 hours on shopping. that means i almost waste 4 hours on the way. that is the traffic jams status in shanghai.

second. reasons. i found that the traffic management is the most serious problem in the traffic system. in some important crossroads, there are no enough traffic police to do the traffic grooming. its irrational. we paid so much taxes, but we cannot comfort what we should get. for example, on the overhead, two cars had made a traffic accident. this leaded the traffic jams. we had not see the traffic police from start to end. it took me nearly 10 minutes on the overhead. it was happened yesterday.

third. to solve it. what i can advice is just add more traffic polices in the important crossroads. its the most useful way to solve the

traffic jams. because yesterday when we nearly went out the overhead, the speed was increased obviously. we found several traffic polices in the crossroad. they commanded cars and then the traffic went well.

that brings me to the end of my presentation. let me just run over the key points again. traffic jams was made by several resources. to solve it, we can depend on the traffic police. but for ourselves, to drive more carefully, more reasonably, maybe is another way to decrease the traffic jams.

thank you for your attention. any questions?

without doubt .if you want to have noodles, ill take you to a noodle shop called laojia or another dining car sell fried bean curd and beef with cayenne pepper. certainly, once you are in wuhan, you cant miss the hot dry noodles.if you want to have rice, datangmingfeng is an alternative. some people call it snack street because its a closed house with many shops of many kinds of food.if you want to have fruits, i hope that youd better buy it in school on account of avoiding being cheating for the weight that may take you a little more money .also; there are a lot of restaurant, bakery, dumpling house and stewed mixed meats house. in addition to that, we have western food, but not mcdonald and kentucky fried chicken, anyway, its totally fine to enjoy it.

all right, i hope that will help you with your bite and sup.

different kinds of friends

according to the interaction, friends may fall into four categories: bosom friends, good friends, ordinary friends and acquaintances.

as to bosom friend, one is enough. it doesnt matter what gender he or she is, how long you have known her, how far you are now away from her, and how often you chat with her. you will not tell her anything, but the thing you will tell must be related to your deepest feelings. besides your parents, she is the one to point out your bad habits which may have bad effects on you, to make you smile whenever you are sad, to talk with you free from any kinds of jokes and topics, and to induce the most genuine things of you. sometimes she may do everything for you better than your parents. “we will be bosom friends forever” maybe harder than the promise between lovers. there is a saying that bosom friend arent those give 10 thousand when she owns 10 billions, but those give you all her money even if she only owns one cent. if you own a bosom friend, you are lucky enough.

good friends are those stay with you for most of your everyday life, and experience most of your experience. you may have many secret thoughts to share with her and many stupid things to do with her. however, sometimes you may consider the property of the things you are about to talk with her for avoiding offending her, because more or less

there will be some benefits exist between you and this type of friends. maybe thats why you cant treat them as your bosom friend. you dont mean to separate them on purpose, but the only thing you know is that they are different.

ordinary friends are those work with you as classmates or colleagues. they may help you a lot when you are in trouble, only if the consequence does no harm to them.

acquaintances are those you have met with but you will hardly have interacts later. but if you come across with each other, more or less you will shake hands, smile, or nod your head and walk away.

the criterion of the classification about friends may be different among people. no matter what type she belongs to in your mind, you should treat them with your enthusiasm, for you will be rewarded with their kindness as well.

正文第一篇:和平的英语演讲稿i am both surprised and deeply humbled by the decision of the nobel committee. let me be clear: i do not view it as a recognition of my own accomplishments, but rather as an affirmation of american leadership on behalf of aspirations held by people in all nations.

to be honest, i do not feel that i deserve to be in the company of so many of the transformative figures who have been honoured by this prize – men and women who have inspired me and inspired the entire world through their courageous pursuit of peace.

but i also know that this prize reflects the kind of world that those men and women, and all americans, want to build – a world that gives life to the promise of our founding documents. and i know that, throughout history, the nobel peace prize has not just been used to honour specific achievement; it's also been used as a means to give momentum to a set of causes. and that is why i will accept this award as a call to action – a call for all nations to confront the common challenges of the 21st-century.

these challenges can't be met by any one leader or any one nation. and that's why my administration has worked to establish a new era of engagement in which all nations must take responsibility for the world we seek…

some of the work confronting us will not be completed during my presidency. some, like the elimination of nuclear weapons, may not be completed in my lifetime. but i know these challenges can be met so long as it's recognised that they will not be met by one person or one nation alone. this award is not simply about the efforts of my administration – it's about the courageous efforts of people around the world.

and that's why this award must be shared with everyone who strives for justice and dignity – for the young woman who marches silently in the streets on behalf of her right to be heard even in the face of beatings and bullets; for the leader imprisoned in her own home because she refuses to abandon her commitment to democracy; for the soldier who sacrificed through tour after tour of duty on behalf of someone half a world away; and for all those men and women across the world who sacrifice their safety and their freedom and sometimes their lives for the cause of peace.

afford to lose

when we were kids, we used to have a dream. in our dream, the sky is blue, the sun is bright, the field is green; in our dream, children from all over the world are singing together; in our dream, youll feel theres no hurt or sorrow. it is peace that we cherished so much when we were young, and i still believe it is peace that we cannot afford to lose.

however, when we grow up and look around the real world with our own eyes carefully, we find that the dream was only a dream. in africa, we saw conflicts; in iraqi and libyan, we noticed the casualties; in a lot of other countries, we found turbulence and turmoil. where are the doves and green branches? where are the happy children and affluent people? and how can we believe the world peace exactly exists under the same sky? we never want to see the soldiers unwillingly leaving their wife and mom, crying. we never want to see the homeless children seeking a bit of dry ground to sleep on for the cold night under a low bridge. we never want to see our country consume a great deal of money to make preparations for wars. there is no doubt that we need a peaceful world, without wars, without death. not because of the peace itself, but actually for its intended purpose.

it is obviously every single human being is too small to stop the wars and advocate the peace even though he firmly wants to. but human

beings are never alone. with you and me and everyone else, we can achieve this goal. i believe that everyone feels like having a wonderful breakfast with family instead of preparing for fighting against the enemy. i believe everyone feels like having a trip somewhere else and enjoy beautiful scenery instead of facing bloody bodies and damaged buildings. i believe everyone feels like sitting in a bright classroom or office to study or to work instead of constructing new buildings on the ruined ones. so, in order to secure our dreams and make them come true, we must understand that peace is something we cannot afford to lose.

i firmly believe that:

we can create a world with no fear;

we can see the nations turn their swords into plowshares;

we can heal the world and make it a better place, as long as we have peace!

第四篇:战争与和平的英语演讲稿a word that change the world

at thebottom of your heart, cry out freedom

about 4700 years ago our ancestor huangdi created a new nation,in eastern asia, from the qin unification to therevolution led by sun yat-sen in 1911,it has appeared a total of 83 chinese dynasties

1949, i think it is a special year that the people could never forgetjapan and germany have announced failure to the world. so i have questions.

butin 5,000 years, what makes china change,

in1945what made the fascist fail

inthe long time of the warwhat supported the people to fight the darki thinkthe answer is a belief a power which named freedomfreedom is a spiritual called hope, is a free spirit called resistance. but todayi want to know what the meaning it is for our young people?

eighty years ago, someone taught young: " sacrificing your personal freedom is to seek free for your country!"but thena person mrhu shih had told them: " fighting your personal freedom is the national freedom struggle, fighting foryour free personality, is the free for the country! "but today, wehave forget itwhen we play basketball in the school yardwhen we see a film at home, what do you think, or“we are still young”"there is have more time"ifsowe have given up the chance to fight freedom for yourself

william wallace said: fight and you may die, run and you’ll live. at least a while. and dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from now to that for one chance, just one chance to come back here and tell your enemies that they can take our lives, but they’ll never take our freedom?!as we are young i think the world is a big stagewetakethe stagewemust tryourbest to show us no matter whathappenedyes, everyonewill die, but not everyone really lives. do you really live, oryou will die alone in the end of your life. so now, please dont wait, please dont waste the valuable time.

please fight for your dream, please order your ideals, and from the bottom of your heart , please cry out "freedom".

i have a dream to become a nobel peace prize winner

this longing is more and more intense now

when i was a little boy

i had a sweet dream

the sky was blue

the fields were green

and children in my dream were singing a wonderful song of love for every boys and girls however, after i grew up, everything was gone

i see on tv, in iraq and sultan, the children with ak47, cut one another’s throats the children are dying

the peace is breaking

the world has been seriously hurting under the war cloud.

we never want to see the children in hunger.

we never want to see the soldiers are fighting and old mom is crying

but it is happening; the war fire is burning in more and more place of the world

so what should i do?

what can i do?

i firmly believe i can give a helping hand to the poor people under the fire

i firmly believe i can bring the real situation to the public i firmly believe i can tell the strong desire for peace to the world

yes, a good wishes is really fit me.

i know, its impossible to change our world on my own

but i, but we, but all of us should try our best to make our mother earth more and more peaceful, more and more beautiful.

i think everybody knows what i should do

i need to train my bravery to face the blood and broken body.

whats more, studying and exercise is important,

once, a successful war correspondent said:

knowledge can help me understand the humans duty,

and a healthy, strong body can help me keep alive when i face the rpg and ak-47. jimmy carter once said: “war may sometimes be a necessary evil. but no matter how necessary, it is always an evil, never a good. we will not learn how to live together in peace by killing each other’s children”

today, our mother-earth is so sad that she always gets angry with her children. so i appealto be or not to be, it is a question. to peace or war, it isnt any question

my dream is not only to be a nobel peace prize winner but also to make our home more peaceful.

the bond of our common humanity is stronger than the divisiveness of our fears and prejudices. god gives us the capacity for choice. we can choose to alleviate suffering. we can choose to work together for peace. we canmake these changes - and we must.

thank you

good morning everybody, nice to see you .

i take with me the memory of friday afternoon acm happy hours, known not for kegs of beer, but rather bowls of rainbow sherbet punch. over the several years that i attended these happy hours they enjoyed varying degrees of popularity, often proportional to the quality and quantity of the accompanying refreshments - but there was always the rainbow sherbert punch.

i take with me memories of purple parking permits, the west campus shuttle, checking my pendaflex, over-due library books, trying to print from cec, lunches on delmar, friends who slept in their offices, miniature golf in lopata hall, the greenway talk, division iii basketball, and trying to convince dean russel that yet another engineering school rule should be changed.

finally, i would like to conclude, not with a memory, but with some advice. what would a graduation speech be without a little advice, right? anyway, this advice comes in the form of a verse delivered to the 1977 graduating class of lake forest college by theodore seuss geisel, better known to the world as dr. seuss - here's how it goes:

my uncle ordered popovers from the restaurant's bill of fare. and when they were served, he regarded them with a penetrating stare . . . then he spoke great words of wisdom as he sat there on that chair: "to eat these things," said my uncle, "you must excercise great care. you may swallow down what's solid . . . but . . . you must spit out the air!"

and then ,you yartake of the world's bill of fare, that's darned good advice to follow. do a lot of spitting out the hot air. and be careful what you swallow.

that is all.

同时引导他们“from easy to difficult.”。

就能做到“from little to more”

那么就达到from chinese to english。我们最终要达到目的 “from english to english from english to chinese ”

unleashing your creativity

i’ve always been an optimist and i supposed that is rooted in my belief that the power of creativity and intelligence can make the world a better place.

for as long as i can remember, i’ve loved learning new things and solving problems. so when i sat down at a computer for the first time in seventh grade, i was hooked. it’s was a clunky and teletype machine that barely do anything compared to the computer we have today. but it changed my life.

when my friend paul allen and i stared microsoft 30 years ago, we had a vision of "a computer on every desk and in every home," which probably sounded a little too optimistic at a time when most computers were the size of refrigerators. but we believe that personal computer would change the world. and they have.

and after 30 years, i’m still as inspired by computers as i was back in seventh grade.

i believe that computers are the most incredible tool we can use to feed1

our curiosity and inventiveness-to help us solve problems that even the smartest people couldn’t solve on their own. computer have transformed how we learn, giving kids everywhere a window into all of the world’s knowledge. they’re helping us build communicates around the things we care about and to stay close to the people who are important to us, no matter where they are.

like my friend warren buffett, i feel particularly lucky to do something every day i love to do. he calls it "tap-dancing to work". my job at microsoft is as challenging as ever, but what makes me "tap-dancing to the work" is when we show people something new, like a computer that can recognize your handwriting or your speech, or one that can store a lifetime’s worth of photos, and the say: "i didn’t know you can do that with a pc!"

but for all the cool things that a person can do with a pc, there are lots other ways we can put our creativity and intelligence to work to improve our world. there are still far too many people in the world whose most basic needs go unmet. every year, for example, millions of people die from diseases that are easy to prevent or treat in the developed world.

as a father, i believe that the death of a child in africa is no less poignant. or tragic than the death of a child anywhere else. and that doesn’t take much to make an immense difference in these children’s lives.

i’m still very optimist, and i believe that progress on even the world’s toughest problems is possible-and it’s happening every day. we’re seeing new drugs for deadly diseases, new diagnostic tools, and new attention paid to the health problems in the developing world.

i’m excited by the possibilities i see for medicine, for education and, of course, for technology. and i believe that through our natural inventiveness , creativity and willingness to solve tough problems, we’re going to make some amazing achievements in all these areas in my lifetime.

idn’t care, but because we didn’t know what to do. if we had known how to help, we would have acted.

the barrier to change is not too little caring; it is too much complexity.

to turn caring into action, we need to see a problem, see a solution, and see the impact. but complexity blocks all three steps.

even with the advent of the internet and 24-hour news, it is still a complex enterprise to get people to truly see the problems. when an airplane crashes, officials immediately call a press conference. they promise to investigate, determine the cause, and prevent similar crashes in the future.

but if the officials were brutally honest, they would say: "of all the people in the world who died today from preventable causes, one half of one percent of them were on this plane. we’re determined to do everything possible to solve the problem that took the lives of the one half of one percent."

the bigger problem is not the plane crash, but the millions of preventable deaths.

we don’t read much about these deaths. the media covers what’s new – and millions of people dying is nothing new. so it stays in the background, where it’s easier to ignore. but even when we do see it or read about it, it’s difficult to keep our eyes on the problem. it’s hard to look at suffering if the situation is so complex that we don’t know how to help. and so we look away.

if we can really see a problem, which is the first step, we come to the second step: cutting through the complexity to find a solution.

finding solutions is essential if we want to make the most of our caring. if we have clear and proven answers anytime an organization or individual asks "how can i help?," then we can get action – and we can make sure that none of the caring in the world is wasted. but complexity makes it hard to mark a path of action for everyone who cares — and that makes it hard for their caring to matter.

cutting through complexity to find a solution runs through four predictable stages: determine a goal, find the highest-leverage approach, discover the ideal technology for that approach, and in the meantime, make the smartest application of the technology that you already have — whether it’s something sophisticated, like a drug, or something simpler, like a bednet.

the aids epidemic offers an example. the broad goal, of course, is to end the disease. the highest-leverage approach is prevention. the ideal technology would be a vaccine that gives lifetime immunity with a single dose. so governments, drug companies, and foundations fund vaccine research. but their work is likely to take more than a decade, so in the meantime, we have to work with what we have in hand – and the best prevention approach we have now is getting people to avoid risky behavior.

pursuing that goal starts the four-step cycle again. this is the pattern. the crucial thing is to never stop thinking and working – and never do what we did with malaria and tuberculosis in the 20th century – which is to surrender to complexity and quit.

the final step – after seeing the problem and finding an approach – is to measure the impact of your work and share your successes and failures so that others learn from your efforts.

you have to have the statistics, of course. you have to be able to show that a program is vaccinating millions more children. you have to be able to show a decline in the number of children dying from these diseases. this is essential not just to improve the program, but also to help draw more investment from business and government.

but if you want to inspire people to participate, you have to show more than numbers; you have to convey the human impact of the work – so people can feel what saving a life means to the families affected.

i remember going to davos some years back and sitting on a global health panel that was discussing ways to save millions of lives. millions! think of the thrill of saving just one person’s life – then multiply that by millions. … yet this was the most boring panel i’ve ever been on – ever. so boring even i couldn’t bear it.

what made that experience especially striking was that i had just come from an event where we were introducing version 13 of some piece of software, and we had people jumping and shouting with excitement. i love getting people excited about software – but why can’t we generate even more excitement for saving lives?

you can’t get people excited unless you can help them see and feel the impact. and how you do that – is a complex question.

still, i’m optimistic. yes, inequity has been with us forever, but the new tools we have to cut through complexity have not been with us forever. they are new – they can help us make the most of our caring – and that’s why the future can be different from the past.

the defining and ongoing innovations of this age – biotechnology, the computer, the internet – give us a chance we’ve never had before to end extreme poverty and end death from preventable disease.

sixty years ago, george marshall came to this commencement and announced a plan to assist the nations of post-war europe. he said: "i think one difficulty is that the problem is one of such enormous complexity that the very mass of facts presented to the public by press and radio make it exceedingly difficult for the man in the street to reach a clear appraisement of the situation. it is virtually impossible at this distance to grasp at all the real significance of the situation."

thirty years after marshall made his address, as my class graduated without me, technology was emerging that would make the world smaller, more open, more visible, less distant.

the emergence of low-cost personal computers gave rise to a powerful network that has transformed opportunities for learning and communicating.

the magical thing about this network is not just that it collapses distance and makes everyone your neighbor. it also dramatically increases the number of brilliant minds we can have working together on the same problem – and that scales up the rate of innovation to a staggering degree.

at the same time, for every person in the world who has access to this technology, five people don’t. that means many creative minds are left out of this discussion --- smart people with practical intelligence and relevant experience who don’t have the technology to hone their talents or contribute their ideas to the world.

we need as many people as possible to have access to this technology, because these advances are triggering a revolution in what human beings can do for one another. they are making it possible not just for national governments, but for universities, corporations, smaller organizations, and even individuals to see problems, see approaches, and measure the impact of their efforts to address the hunger, poverty, and desperation george marshall spoke of 60 years ago.

今天的电视还是被动的,在未来,你可以从因特网下载节目,电视将能和人交流、互动;

昨天我参观了中国农科院稻米研究所,看到那里的技术人员开始用软件来区分不同的稻米,为其排序,以后还可以通过软件的分析计算,用较少的农药培育出高产量的优良品种;

医学界已经开始用软件来管理数据库;

今天的手机已经成为我们的“数字钱包”,可以显示地图,上网查找信息,未来它还将可以和人交流;

微软已经开展项目,帮助中国的进城务工人员、残疾人尤其是盲人享受科技成果;

微软已经捐资设立了五所希望小学和五所网上希望小学;

微软也同中国政府及大学合作,设立了很多学术交流项目,鼓励优秀外国专家来华讲学;

有来自39所亚太地区大学的超过xx名学生曾在微软亚洲研究院实习,并有120人获得了研究资助,其中清华所占学生人数最多;

hello everyonemy name is thomas suarez. i’ve always had a fascination for computers and technology, and i made a few apps for the iphone, ipod touch and ipad. id like to share a couple with you today; my first step was a unique fortune terror called earth fortune, that explain different codes of earth depending on what your fortune was, my favorite and most successful app is bustin jieber, which is the justin bieber wac more, i created it because a lot of people at school dislike justin bieber a little bit, so i decided to make the app, so i went to work programming it and i really suggest for holidays in 2014.

a lot of people asked me: how did i make(请关注www.91exam.org) this, a lot of time just because the person you ask a question wants to make an app also, a lot of kids these days like to play games, but now they want to make them and its difficult. because not many kids know where to go to find out how to make a program. i mean for soccer you could go to a soccer team, for violin you could get lessons for violin, but what if you want to make an app and kids parents might have done these things when they were young, but not many parents made apps. where would you go to find out how to make an app, while this is how i approached, this is what i did.

first of all, ive been programming in multiple other programs just get the basics down, such as python, c, java etc. and then apple released the iphone and with the iphone soft developing, and software development kit is a swift tool for creating and programming an iphone app. this opened up a whole new world possibilities for me, and after playing with the soft developing a little bit i made a couple apps and made some test apps, one of them happen to be earth fortune was ready to put fortune on the app store, and so i persuaded my parents to pay the 99-dollar-fee to be able to put my app on the app stock. they agreed and now my apps are on the app store.

ive got a lot interesting encouragement for my family friends teachers and even people of the app store, thats been a huge chap for me, ive got a lot of inspiration from steve jobs, as started the app club at the school and a teacher my school is kindly sponsoring my app club, any students on my school can come and design, learn how to design an app. this is all i can share my experience with others.

there are these programs called the ipad pallid program, and some districts have them. im fortunate to be part of one; a big challenge is how should the ipad be used on what apps shall we put on the ipads. so were getting feedback from teachers at this school to see what kind of apps they like when we design the app and we sell it, it would be free to local districts and other districts we sell to. all the money from that goes to local foundations, these days students usually know a little

bit more than teachers with the technology, so, sorry, this is the resource of the teachers and educators should recognize this resource and make good use of it.

id like to finish up by saying what i like to do in the future. first of all id like to create more apps, more games. im working with a third party company to make an app. id like to get into android programming and development, and id like to continue my app club and find other ways for students to share knowledge with others. thank you.

比如,乔布斯在2014年斯坦福大学毕业典礼上的演讲中,开篇稍微寒暄之后就进入正题:“today i want to tell you three stories from my life. thats it. no big deal. just three stories.” 乔布斯在随后的演讲中分别提到,“the first story is about connecting the dots.”“my second story is about love and loss.”“my third story is about death.”

乔布斯在演讲开篇说道:“i am honored to be with you today for your commencement from one of the finest universities in the world. truth be told, i never graduated from college. and this is the closest ive ever gotten to a

college graduation.”

乔布斯在斯坦福大学的毕业演讲中明确给出了三个要点: the first story is about connecting the dots. my second story is about love and loss. my third story is about death. 比如在讲到死亡时,他引用了一句格言:“if you live each day as if it was your last, someday youll most certainly be right.” 他说自己是幸运的,因为“woz and i started apple in my parents garage when i was 20. we worked hard, and in 10 years apple had grown from just the two of us in a garage into a $2 billion company with over 4000 employees. wed just released our finest creation—the

macintosh—a year earlier, and id just turned 30.”

他在结尾说道:“stewart and his team put out several issues of the whole earth catalog, and then when it had run its course, they put out a final issue. it was the mid-1970s, and i was your age. on the back cover of their final issue was a photograph of an early morning country road, the kind you might find yourself hitchhiking on if you were so adventurous. beneath it were the words stay hungry. stay foolish. it was their farewell message as they signed off. stay hungry. stay foolish. and i have always wished that for myself. and now, as you graduate to begin anew, i wish that for you. stay hungry. stay foolish.”

henry的演讲“liberty or death”。他在结尾时说道:“is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? forbid it, almighty god! i know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty, or give me death!”

stephen e. lucas的《演讲的艺术》(the art of public speaking)一书。

第四篇:乔布斯演讲稿no one wants to die. even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. and yet death is the destination we all share. no one has ever escaped it. and that is as it should be, because death is very likely the single best invention of life. it is life’s change agent. it clears out the old to make way for the new. right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.

your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. don’t be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. and most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. they somehow already know what you truly want to become. everything else is secondary.

when i was young, there was an amazing publication called the whole earth catalog, which was one of the bibles of my generation. it was created by a fellow named stewart brand not far from here in menlo park, and he brought it to life with his poetic touch. this was in the late 1960’s, before personal computers and desktop publishing, so it was all made with typewriters, scissors, and polaroid cameras. it was sort of like google in paperback form, 35 years before google came along: it was idealistic, and overflowing with neat tools and great notions.

stewart and his team put out several issues of the whole earth catalog, and then when it had run its course, they put out a final issue. it was the mid-1970s, and i was your age. on the back cover of their final issue was a photograph of an early morning country road, the kind you might find

yourself hitchhiking on if you were so adventurous. beneath it were the words: "stay hungry. stay foolish." it was their farewell message as they signed off. stay hungry. stay foolish. and i have always wished that for myself. and now, as you graduate to begin anew, i wish that for you.

thank you all very much.

第五篇:乔布斯演讲稿this program is brought to you by stanford on itunes u at stanford university, please visit us at itunes.stanford.edu.

steve jobs

ceo, apple and pixar animation

thank you.

im honored to be with you today for your commencement from one of the finest university in the world.

truth to told, i never graduated from college, and this is the closest ive ever gotten to a college graduation.

today, i want to tell you three stories from my life. thats it. no big deal. just three stories.

the first story is about connecting the dots. i dropped out of reed college after the first six months, but then stay around as a drop-in for another eighteen months also before i really quit. so why did i drop out? it started before i was born. my biological mother was a young unwed graduate student and she decided to put me up for adoption. she felt very strongly that i should be adopted by college graduates, so everything was all set for me to be adopted at birth by a lawyer and his wife, except when i popped out they decided at the last minute that they really wanted a girl. so my parents, who were on a waiting list got a call in the middle of the night asking, “weve got an unexpected baby boy. do you want him?” they said, “of course.” my biological mother found out later that my mother had never graduated from college and my father had never graduated from high school. she refused to sign the final adoption papers. she only relented a few months later when my parents promised that i would go to college. this was the start in my life. and seventeen years later, i did go to college, but i naively chose a college that was almost as expensive as stanford and all of my working-class parents savings were being spent on my college tuition. after six months i couldnt see the value in it. i have no idea what i want to do with my life and no idea how college was going to help me figure it out. and here i was spending all of the money my parents had saved their entire life, so i decided to drop out and trust that it would all work out ok. it was pretty scary at the time, but looking back, it was one of the best decisions i ever made. the minute i dropped out i could stop taking the required classes that didnt interest me and begin dropping in on the ones that looked far more interesting. it wasnt all romantic, i didnt have a dorm room, so i slept on the floor in friends rooms. i returned coke bottles for the five-cent deposits to buy food with and i would work the seven miles across the town every sunday night to get one good meal a week at the hare krishna temple. i loved it. and much of what i stumbled into by following my curiosity and intuition turned out to be priceless later on. let me give you one example. reed college at that time offered perhaps the best calligraphy instruction in the country. throughout the campus every poster every label on every drawer was beautiful hand calligraphed.because i have dropped out and didnt have to take the normal classes. i decided to take a calligraphy class to learn how to do this. i learned about serif and san-serif typefaces about varying the amount of space between different letter combinations, about what makes great typography great.it was beautiful, historical, artistically subtle in a way that science cant capture, and i found it fascinating. none of this had even a hope of any practical application in my life. but ten years later, when we were designing the first macintosh computer, it all came back to me, and we designed it all into the mac. it was the first

computer with beautiful typography. if i had never dropped in on that single course in college, the mac would have never had multiple typefaces or proportionally space fonts, and since windows copied the mac, its likely that no personal computer would have them.if i had never dropped out, i would never dropped in on that calligraphy class and personals computer might not have the wonderful typography that they do. of course, it was impossible to connect the dots looking forward when i was in college, but it was very very clear looking backwards 10 years later. again, you cant connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backwards. so you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. you have to trust in something, you gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever, because believing that the dots will connect down the road, will give you the confidence to follow your heart, even when it leads you off the well worn path. and that would make all the difference.

my second story is about love and loss. i was lucky, i found what i loved to do early in life, woz and i started apple in my parents garage when i was twenty.we worked hard and in ten years, apple had grown from just the two of us in a garage in to a $2 billion company with over 4000 employees. we just released our finest creation, he macintosh, a year earlier, and id just turned thirty, and then i got fired. how can you get fired from a company you started?well, as apple grew, we hired someone who i thought was very talented to run the company with me, and for the first year or so, things went well. but when our visions of the future began to diverge and eventually we had a falling out. when we did, our board of directors sided with him, and so at thirty, i was out, and very publicly out. what had been the focus of my entire adult life gone, and it was devastating. i really didnt know what to do for a few months, i felt that i had let the previous generation of entrepreneurs down, that i had dropped he baton as it was being passed to me. i met with david packard and bob noyce, and tried to apologize for screwing up so badly. i was a very public failure and i even thought about running away the valley. but something slowly began to dawn on me, i still loved what i did. the turn of events at apple had not changed that one bit, id been rejected but i was still in love. and so i decided to start over. i didnt see that then , but it turned out that getting fired from apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. the happiness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. it freed me to enter one of the most creative periods in my life. during the next five years, i started a company named next, another company named pixar, and fell in love with an amazing woman who would became my wife. pixar went on to create the worlds first computer-aninated feature film “ toy story”, and is now the most successful animation studio in the world. in a remarkable turn of events, apple bought next, and i returned to apple, and the technology we developed at next is at the heart of apples current renaissance, and lorene and i have a wonderful family together. i am pretty sure none of this world have happened if i hadnt been fired from apple. it was awful-tasting medicine, but i guess the patient needed it. sometime lifes going to hit you in the head with a brick, dont lose faith. i convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that i loved what i did. youve got to find what you love, and that is as true for work as it is for your lovers. your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work, and the only way to do great work is to love what you do. if you havent found it yet, keep looking and dont settle. as with all matters of the heart, youll know when you find it, and like any great relationship it just gets better and better as the years roll on. so keep looking, dont settle.

my third story is about death. when i was seventeen, i read a quote that went something like “ if

you live each day as if it was your last , someday youll most certainly be right.”it made an impression on me, and since then, for the past 33 years, i have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself “if today were the last day of my life, would i want to do what i am about to do today?” and whenever the answer has been “no” for too many days in a row, i know i need to change something. remembering that ill be dead soon is the most important thing ive ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. because almost everything, all external expectation, all pride, all fear of embarrassment of failure, these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. remembering what you are going to die is the best way i know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. you are already naked.there is no reason not to follow your heart. about a year ago, i was diagnosed with cancer, i had a scan at 7:30 in the morning, and it clearly shower a tumor my pancreas, i didnt even know what a pancreas was, the doctors told me this was almost certainly a type of cancer that is incurable, and that i should expect to live no longer than three to six months. my doctor advised me to go home and get my affairs in order, which is doctors code for “prepare to die”. it means to try and tell your kids everything you thought youd have the next ten years to tell them in just a few months. it means to make sure that everything is buttoned up, so that it will be as easy as possible for your family. it means to say your goodbyes. i lived with that diagnosis all day. later that evening i had a biopsy, where they stuck on endoscope down my throat, through my stomach into my intestines, put a needle into my pancreas and got a few cells from the tumor. i was sedated, but my wife, who was there, told me that they viewed the cells under a microscope, the doctor started crying, because it turned out to be a very rare form of pancreatic cancer, that is curable with surgery, i had the surgery and , thankfully , i am fine now. this was the closest ive been to facing death, and i hope its the closest i get for a few more decades. having lived through it, i can now say this to you with a bit more certainly than when death was a useful but purely intellectual concept, no one wants to die, even people who want to go to heaven, dont want to die to get there, and yet, death is the destination we all share, no one has ever escaped it, and that is as it should be, because death is very likely the single best invention of life, its lifes change agent, it clear out the old and make way for the new. right now, the new is you. but someday, not too long from now, you will gradually become the old, and be cleared away, sorry to be so dramatic, but its quite true. your time is limited, so dont waste it living someone elses life. dont be trapped by dogma which is living with the results of other peoples thinking. dont let the noise of others opinions drawn out your owner inner voice. and most important is have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. they somehow already know what you truly want to become, everything else is secondary. when i was young, there was amazing publication called the whole earth catalogue, which was one of the bibles of my generation. it was created by a fellow named stuart brand not far from here in menlo park, and he brought it to life with his poetic touch, this was in the late sixties, before personal computers and desktop publishing, so it was all made with typewriters, scissors, and polaroid cameras, it was sort of like google in paperback form, thirty-five years before google came along, it was idealistic, overflowing with neat tools and great motions, stuart and his team put out several issues of the whole earth catalogue, and then when it had run its course, they put out a final issue, it was the mid-seventies, and i was your age. on the back cover of their final issue, was a photograph of an early morning country road, the kind you might find yourself hitchhiking on if you were so adventurous. beneath were the words “stay hungry, stay foolish”. it was their farewell message

as they signed off, “stay hungry, stay foolish”. and i have always wished that for myself. and now, as you graduate to begin a new, i wish that for you, “stay hungry, stay foolish”.

thank you all, very much.
