一、课题组简介
Mohamad Sawan是西湖大学工学院讲席教授、智能医疗设备领域的国际专家。他在植入式和可穿戴式生物医学设备和微系统，特别是在神经退行性疾病应用方面做出了重大贡献。他是加拿大工程院院士、加拿大工程研究院院士和IEEE Fellow。

Sawan教授是西湖大学生物医学研究与创新中心（CenBrain）的创始人和首席科学家。
二、招聘岗位及条件
1.招聘岗位：博士后（若干名）、科研助理（若干名）
2.任职条件：
候选人必须具备专业知识和兴趣，有志为可穿戴和植入式智能医疗设备（WIMDS）新兴领域做出贡献。要求具备良好的英语沟通能力，并且：
-有较强的电气、电子和/或生物医学工程背景；
-能够在CenBrain活动中开展创新研究项目；
-有兴趣培训和共同监督实习生和博士生；
-与CenBrain其他成员及其工业伙伴合作；
-博士后要求3年内获得或即将获得以下研究领域之一的博士学位，并在该领域具有丰富的科研经验；科研助理要求获得以下研究领域之一的硕士以上学位并具有2年以上工作或者科研经历：
（1）微电子和微系统；
-模拟和混合信号电路的设计、实现、布局和流片制造；
-集成电路和可供电系统的组装、封装、测试和验证；
-在Cadence，ADS，Comsol，Matlab方面的软件专业知识；
（2）微流体与微加工
-芯片上实验室（Lab on Chip）和芯片上器官(Organ on Chip)；
-MEMS/NEMS结构；
-细胞培养和细胞储存；
-生物化学和生物学协议，以及生物相容性；
-混合结构组装和封装；
3.年龄及毕业年限限制：
（1）博士后要求35周岁以下，并且获得博士学位不超过3年。
（2）科研助理要求硕士以上学位，并具有至少2年工作或者科研经历。
三、薪酬待遇
根据个人科研工作能力和西湖大学有关规定从优发放。课题组将提供稳定的工作环境与一流的研究平台，并根据兴趣与需求支持个人的职业发展。对于博士后，将协助申报博士后相关项目。
对获得中国博士后科学基金资助和省级博士后科研项目资助的，市财政给予1:1配套资助。对博士后出站后留杭州工作的，杭州市给予每人40万元补助。

Introduction of The Lab/ Research Field
Dr. Mohamad Sawan is Chair Professor of School of Engineering in Westlake University, an international expert in the area of smart medical devices. He made world-renowned contributions in implantable and wearable biomedical devices and microsystems, particularly for neurodegenerative diseases applications. He is Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, Fellow of the Canadian Engineering Research Institute, and Fellow of IEEE (http://www.mohamadsawan.org,

He is founder and director of the Center for Biomedical Research and Innovation (CenBrain) at Westlake University.
Job Description
Position: Postdoctoral Research Fellow， Research Assistant
Requirements:
The candidate must possess expertise and interests to contribute to the emerging fields of Wearable and Implantable Smart Medical Devices (WISMDs). He or she must fluently speak and write English and have :
- strong background in Electrical, Electronic and/or Biomedical Engineering;
- ability to conduct innovative research projects within CenBrain activities;
- interest to train and co-supervise interns and Ph.D. students;
- motivation to collaborate with the other members of CenBrain and its industrial partners;
- for Postdoctoral candidate: a Ph.D. degree within 3 years in a field related to one of the research domains described below, and rich research experiences in that specific domain;
for Research Assistant candidate: a Master degree in a field related to one of the research domains described below, and at least 2 years of research or working experiences in that specific domain;
(1). Microelectronics and Microsystems;
- Analog and mixed-signal circuits design, implementation, and layout and tape out for fabrication;
- Assembly, packaging, testing and validation of integrated circuits and wearable systems;
- Software expertise in Cadence, ADS, COMSOL, MATLAB;
(2). Microfluidics and Micromachining
- Lab-on-Chip and Organ-on-chip;
- MEMS/NEMS structure;
- Cell culture, and cell storage;
- Biochemistry and Biology protocol, and Biocompatibility;
- Hybrid structure assembly and packaging;
Other requirements:
1) Postdoctoral candidate must be under 35 years old and must have obtained, or, is about to obtain a Ph.D. degree.
2) Research Assistant candidate must have a Master’s degree and have at least 2 years of working or research experiences.
Compensation and Benefits
The research team offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience. Applications for relevant projects and programs will be encouraged and supported.
Postdoctoral fellows who will be selected for China Postdoctoral Science Foundation or Advanced Programs of Zhejiang Province, will at the same time be entitled to receive the same amount of funds from the Hangzhou government.
Postdoctoral fellows who successfully complete 2 years of postdoc research and afterwards, choose to work in Hangzhou full-time, will be eligible for applying for an allowance of 400,000RMB from the Hangzhou government.
