Position Summary
NYU Shanghai is looking for a short-term contracted Fellow, Digital Learning Assistant for the following Summer and Fall semester (May/June to December 2021).
The Fellow, Digital Learning Assistant will work in the Research and Instructional Services (RITS) team to help enable and support Learning Management System transition and digital teaching and learning experience. The individual will support a portfolio of digital tools such as NYU LMS Brightspace, Zoom and Voicethread, help with instructional design, testing and customizations of instruction scenarios, assist with video and other media editing and polishing, and contribute to customer consultations and training.
This position is excellent for graduate students or recent graduates looking to gain skills in instructional design, media production, and relevant fields in a highly international institution.
Qualifications
Required Education
● Bachelor’s Degree or above.
Required Experience
● Relevant working experience in international higher education is preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
● The successful candidates should have strong service orientation, be willing to learn new systems and approaches and adapt to changes quickly.
● Proficiency in English.
