Position Description                                                                      
The incumbent will be responsible for Campus Mental Health work. Detailed duties and responsibilities are as follows.
 
Duties and Responsibilities                                                                    
·  To routinely manage student counseling cases and coordinate various specified psychological groups, targeting for dealing with various mental health difficulties students facing in campus.
·  To be responsible for the education and publicity of mental health knowledge to the campus, including layout of seminars and various types of new medias and maintenance of the psycho-education website, etc.
·  To be responsible for the organization and management of student mental health mentors and guidance of college students’ Psychological Club.
·  To support and/or assist the content design in other student activities of SA from mental health perspective.
·  To perform other mental health and/or administrative tasks as department head assigned. 
 
Required Job Specifications                                                                 
·  Be enthusiastic for education career, discipline and law-abiding, with good physical and mental health, and integrity personality.
·  Have a passion for mental health education, with high overall capacities, responsible working ethic, a calling to serve for youth growth, strong communication, organization, and team cooperation abilities.
·  Master professional knowledge and methods of mental health counseling and education, have a strong ability to plan and organize mental health activity and promote campus mental health through multimedia publicity. 
·  Have a master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related subjects, those with 2-year and above relating working experience and demonstrating strong working ability is preferred.
·  Have Good English and Chinese language skills and communication skills, able to apply various office software, with strong administrative workability.
·  Candidate with the qualification as a registered assistant psychologist or registered psychologist of Chinese Psychological Society, and/or having an internship or work experience in mental health hospital or mental health education or psychological counseling is preferred.
Required Job Competencies                                                                
·  Language ability: Fluent in both written and spoken Chinese (Putonghua) and English.
·  Strong sense of responsibility and initiative, and good professional and organizational skills.
·  Good interpersonal and communication skills to work in an international, cross-cultural work environment.
·  Strong sense of professional and academic ethics.
·  Ability to handle emergencies cases.
·  Prior mental health work experience in universities or hospitals preferred.
