The Computational Networking (CompNet) Lab in the School of Information Science and Technolog y at ShanghaiTech seeks highly motivated post-doctoral fellows(s) in areas of future data-oriented wireless network design and big data computation over networks. For exceptionally qualified candidates, research faculty positions could be considered. At ShanghaiTech, the CompNet Lab has state-of-the-art research/computation facilities and opportunities to collaborate with several top research institutes in the world, such as Stanford, Princeton, Berkeley, Duke, and CMU. The Lab also has access to one of the world’s best academic resources in the newly inaugurated ShanghaiTech University in the center of Shanghai’s Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park. We seek highly motivated researchers for the above position with the following qualification requirements.

Qualifications:
(1)PhD degree in electrical engineering, computer science, statistics, or related areas.
(2)Strong motivation to work in data science related research.
(3)Strong mathematical skills and algorithm computation experience.
(4)Good communication skills and capability of supervising research students.
(5)Fluent in oral and written English.
