Hainan Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences (BiUH) is an innovative, high-performance and international university of applied sciences in Danzhou, Hainan, China. It is the first independent university in China to operate outside of China and the first independent higher education institution of a German public university to operate in mainland China. 2.Job Location

At the beginning, for 2 years, the campus is temporarily in Hainan Lingshui Li’an International Education Innovation Pilot Zone, China.

The final campus will be in Yangpu Economic Development Zone, Danzhou, Hainan, China.

3.Job Title

One Professor/ Associate Professor for Computer Science

One Processor/Associate Professor for Digital Technology

4.Job Responsibilities

1) Teaching undergraduate students in Computer Science/ Digital Technology (e.g. Computer Engineering, Database System, Introduction to Computer Science etc.)

2) Offering advice to establish new professional laboratories (located in the final campus)

3) Doing scientific research work

4) Doing administrative work related to courses, research and business-university cooperation etc.

5) Communicating and cooperating with the other departments

6) Supporting marketing work

5.Job Requirements

1) Professors/ Associate Professors in Computer Science or Digital Technology

2) Keen on educational work

3) PhD

4) Published high-quality papers related to Computer Science or Digital Technology

5) Experience in laboratory establishment

6) Fluent in spoken and written English

7) Fluent German is a plus

8) 3 years work experience outside university (in companies or factories)

9) Team work with other professors

10) International work environment experience
