01活动论坛AbouttheForum
2025年1月6日至8日，香港中文大学（深圳）数据科学学院将举办“人工智能与数据科学全球青年学者论坛”，旨在进一步促进海内外优秀青年学者之间的学术交流与深度合作，吸引和培养顶尖人才，推动大学的学术发展与进步。
我们热忱邀请全球有志的青年学者加入这一激动人心的知识探索之旅，成为追求知识与重视创新社区的一员。此次论坛也是我们全球青年英才招募活动的核心组成部分。
To further promote academic exchange and collaboration among outstanding young scholars worldwide, attract and nurture top-tier talent, and propel the university's academic growth and development, the School of Data Science at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, will host the 'Global Young Scholars Forum on Artificial Intelligence and Data Science' from January 6-8, 2025.
We extend a warm invitation to ambitious young academics worldwide to join us in this exciting intellectual endeavor and become part of a community that values innovation, creativity, and the pursuit of knowledge. This forum is also an essential part of our Global Young Talent Recruitment initiative.
02申请条件Application Requirements
·已经取得（或即将在未来一年内取得）海内外知名大学博士学位；
Have obtained (or will obtain within a year) a Ph.D. degree from a globally reputable university.
·在运筹学、统计学、计算机科学领域取得显著研究成果，研究方向包括运营管理、决策科学、机器学习、应用概率、数理统计、生物统计、人工智能、自然语言处理、语音处理、计算机视觉/图形学、机器人/具身智能、信息工程、软件工程、计算机安全、操作系统、高性能计算等。
Have made significant achievements in the research fields of operations research, statistics, and computer science, particularly in the following research directions: operations management, decision analytics, machine learning, applied probability, mathematical statistics, biostatistics, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, speech recognition, computer vision/graphics, robotics and embodied intelligence, information engineering, software engineering, computer security, operating systems and high-performance computing.

Applicants can choose to attend either online or onsite. The School of Data Science will provide assistance with round-trip travel expenses, accommodation and meals for invited young scholars attending in person. Details on reimbursement will be included with the invitation letter.

香港中文大学（深圳）数据科学学院成立于2020年7月。
数据科学学院专注于数据科学方向的人才培养与科学研究。学院在运筹学、统计学、计算机科学等基础领域以及运营管理、决策科学、机器学习等前沿领域有着系统的教学体系，为学生提供完整且前沿的理论与实践培养。学院强调产学研结合，秉承香港中文大学（深圳）“致力于培养具有国际视野、中华传统和社会担当的创新型高层次人才”的育人目标，为学生提供多元发展的优质环境，充分发展学生潜能，矢志成为世界领先的数据科学创新与科研基地，培育具有全球视野的顶尖创新型人才。

The School of Data Science (SDS) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen was established in July 2020.
The SDS focuses on first-class teaching and academic research in data science. It has established a systematic education system in data science, including theoretical aspects such as operations research, statistics, computer science, and application fields such as machine learning, operations management, and decision analytics, providing students with comprehensive and state-of-the-art training. With the aim “to nurture high-end talent with global perspective, Chinese tradition and social responsibility,” the school is organically integrating industry, education, and research, determined to become the world's leading data science innovation and research base, as well as cultivating top innovative talents with a global perspective.
The SDS is established on a solid foundation with strong faculty. All SDS faculty members have doctoral degrees from world-class universities. Many of them also have experiences working in top-tier universities in the world and have significant international impacts in both academia and industry. Besides, the school has held many international conferences and events related to data science, and has garnered strong recognition in the world.
