低碳国际青年学者论坛是由上海交通大学主办、中英国际低碳学院承办的全球性高层次学术盛会。论坛聚焦低碳科技前沿与发展，旨在为全球优秀青年学者搭建一个高水平、国际化的交流与合作平台。

01申请条件
1. 优秀青年科学基金项目（海外）的申请人应当具备以下条件：
（1）遵守中华人民共和国法律法规，具有良好的科学道德，自觉践行新时代科学家精神；
（2）出生日期在1986年1月1日（含）以后；
（3）具有博士学位；
（4）研究方向主要为自然科学、工程技术等；
（5）在取得博士学位后至2026年项目结束前，一般应在海外知名高校、科研机构、企业研发机构等获得正式教学或者科研职位，且具有连续36个月以上工作经历；在海外取得博士学位且业绩特别突出的，可适当放宽工作年限要求（不适用于通过中外联合培养方式取得海外博士学位的情况）。
在海外工作期间，同时拥有境内带薪酬职位的申请人，其境内带薪酬职位的工作年限不计入海外工作年限。
（6）取得同行专家认可的科研或技术等成果，且具有成为该领域学术带头人或杰出人才的发展潜力；
（7）申请人尚未全职回国（来华）工作，或者2025年1月1日以后回国（来华）工作。获资助通知后须辞去海外工作并全职回国（来华）工作不少于3年。
2. 限项要求
执行国家科技人才计划统筹衔接的相关要求。同层次国家科技人才计划只能承担一项，不能逆层次申请。

ABOUT THE FORUM
The Low Carbon International Young
Scholars Forum is a global high-level academic event hosted by Shanghai Jiao Tong University and organized by the China-UK
Low Carbon College of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Focusing on the frontiers
and developments of low-carbon science and technology, the Forum aims to build
a high-level, international exchange and cooperation platform for outstanding
young scholars from all over the world.
The Forum brings together foreign and
domestic outstanding young talents in the field of low carbon to discuss the
innovative research and development trend of low carbon technology, policy,
management and etc. in depth through various forms: symposium, academic
seminar, cooperative communication and so forth. This is not only an academic
feast for the collision of ideas, but also an important window for China-UK Low Carbon College to recruit global talents and
promote interdisciplinary and innovative development.
The active participation in the forum of
young scholars that committed to the cause of low-carbon worldwide are
cordially invited, let us explore the future of low carbon together and
contribute wisdom and strength to global sustainable development.

ABOUT LCC
Relying on the platform of Shanghai Jiao
Tong University ("Double First-Class" initiative), the China-UK Low
Carbon College (LCC) focuses on low-carbon interdisciplinary fields, hosts five
specialized low-carbon research centers, a globally recruited faculty team and
state-of-the-art research facilities.
In recent years, LCC has made significant
progress in advancing key low-carbon technologies, and been supported by major
national and provincial grants: including Key Projects funded by the National
Natural Science Foundation of China, Priority International Collaboration
Projects, Special Projects on basic research funded by the Aero-engine and Gas
Turbine National Science and Technology Major Project of Ministry of Industry
and Information Technology, National Key R&D Program on Intergovernmental
Global Science & Technology Innovation Cooperation, Shanghai Science and
Technology Support Carbon Neutrality Special Project, Shanghai International
Cooperation Projects, etc. LCC faculty members have published extensively in
leading journals such as Nature Chemistry, Nature Communications, Nature
Physics, PNAS, and JACS, contributing to the college’s growing global academic
influence.

FACULTY POSITIONS
Early-Career Researchers (Tenured Associate
Professor/Tenure-track Associate Professor/Assistant Professor)
We are looking for talented early-career
researchers who:
● Hold a doctorate from a
world-renowned university, international experience is preferred;
● Has obtained remarkable
academic achievements or scientific research results recognized by peer experts
in corresponding discipline or professional field, and has the development
potential to become an academic leader or outstanding talent in the field;
● Are capable of
independently leading national-level youth talent programs and developing
emerging interdisciplinary research directions.

Excellent Young Scientists Fund Program
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants for the Excellent Young
Scientists Fund Program (Overseas) should meet the following requirements:
1.Comply with the laws and regulations of
the People's Republic of China,
uphold sound scientific ethics, and conscientiously practice the spirit of
scientists in the new era;
2.Born on or after January 1, 1986
(inclusive);
3.Hold a doctoral degree;
4.Research areas mainly in natural
sciences, engineering and technology, etc.;
5.After obtaining a doctoral degree and
before the end of the project in 2026, should generally have obtained a formal
teaching or research position in overseas well-known university, research
institution, enterprise R&D institution and etc., and have continuous work
experience of more than 36 months; for those that obtained a doctoral degree
overseas and have outstanding achievements, the work experience requirement can
be appropriately relaxed (not applicable to those who obtained overseas
doctoral degree through joint training program between Chinese and foreign
institutions).
For applicants who simultaneously hold a
paid position in China
during the period of working overseas, the work experience of the paid position
in China
is not counted as overseas work experience.
6.Have achieved research or technological
results recognized by peer experts, and have the potential to become an
academic leader or outstanding talent in the field;
7.The applicant has not yet returned to China for full-time work, or returned to China for
full-time work after January 1, 2025. After receiving the funding notification,
the applicant must resign from their overseas employment and work full-time in China for at
least 3 years.
Restriction Requirements
1.Implement the relevant requirements for
the overall coordination and connection of national science and technology
talent programs. One applicant can only undertake one national science and
technology talent program at the same level, and reverse-level applications are
not allowed.
2.The above are based upon the 2025
project guidelines, and the application conditions and requirements are subject
