教授、副教授与助理教授职位现已开放
香港城市大学（东莞）（以下简称“港城大（东莞）”）为香港城市大学（以下简称“港城大”）在东莞松山湖通力创办的中外合办大学。该校秉承港城大“教研合一”的办学理念及“科创无限”的前瞻愿景，确保其学术标准与港城大保持一致。
港城大（东莞）于2024年4月正式获批成立，并于同年成功招生。目前，大学开设四个本科专业：计算机科学与技术、智能制造工程、材料科学与工程、能源与动力工程。此外，还开设七个硕士专业，包括电脑科学、电子资讯工程学、材料工程及纳米科技、商务资讯系统、工程管理学、数据科学以及生物医学工程。
我们将以世界一流大学的标准，启动全球师资招募，诚邀来自不同背景的各界人士申请上述领域的讲席教授、教授、副教授和助理教授的教职岗位。港城大（东莞）主要教学和管理语言为英语。
01主要职责
成功入选者将需要履行以下职责：
● 独立或以团队协作形式进行出色的本科和研究生教学工作；
● 通过杰出的研究成果在自身领域获得国际认可并展现领导才能；
● 资深教研人员需肩负行政工作，确保大学高效发展，推进大学使命；
● 积极争取外部科研项目资金，促进科研创新和科技进步；
● 为学生在项目、实习和论文方面提供卓越的指导，引导学生追求学术进步。
02资格条件
申请人应具备相关领域的博士学位。申请人如在独立研究、教学、学生指导和社会实践方面有杰出的成果将会被优先考虑。取得博士学位的应届博士生如具有优异的学术成果也将被考虑。
对于讲席教授、教授和副教授职位，申请人应满足以下要求：
● 展示出世界一流的学术成就和声誉卓著的国际学术领导力；
● 在教学、学生指导和申请科研项目方面具有丰富经验；
● 展示出与大学战略研究领域相一致的科研项目建设能力；
● 致力于为本科和研究生阶段不同背景的学生提供高质量的教学和指导。
对于助理教授职位，申请人应满足以下要求：
● 展示出在与大学战略研究领域相一致的研究和教学潜力。

City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan)
Professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professors
City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan) (CityU (Dongguan)) is a jointly established university, fully backed by the City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK). The university upholds CityUHK’s philosophy of "Integration of Teaching and Research" and its forward-looking vision of “Innovating into the Future," ensuring that its academic standards align with those of CityUHK.
CityU (Dongguan) received official approval for its establishment in April 2024 and successfully began recruiting high-caliber students the same year. The university currently offers four undergraduate programmes.: Computer Science and Technology, Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, and Energy and Power Engineering. Additionally, seven graduate programmes have been introduced, including Computer Science, Electronic Information Engineering, Materials Engineering and Nanotechnology, Business Information Systems, Engineering Management, Data Science, and Biomedical Engineering.
The university has launched a global faculty recruitment campaign aligned with the standards of a world-class institution. It invites inpiduals from perse backgrounds to apply for faculty positions at the levels of Chair Professor, Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor in the aforementioned fields. The primary language of instruction and administration at CityU (Dongguan) is English.
01 Major Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be expected to:
● Deliver exceptional education, both independently or collaboratively, for undergraduate and postgraduate courses;
● Achieve international recognition and demonstrate leadership in their respective fields through outstand ing research;
● Contribute to administrative tasks, ensuring efficient operations and supporting the advancement of the university's mission (applicable to senior faculty);
● Proactively secure external funding for research projects, promoting technological innovation;
● Provide exemplary supervision for student projects, internships, and theses, guiding them towards academic excellence.
02 Qualifications
Applicants should hold a doctoral degree in the relevant field. A strong track record in independent research, teaching, student supervision, and service is highly desirable. Candidates who have recently obtained their PhD with exceptional achievements may also be considered.
For the positions of Chair Professor, Professor, and Associate Professor, applicants should:
● Demonstrate a record of world-class academic accomplishments and reputable international academic leadership;
● Possess extensive experience in teaching, student supervision, and securing research project funding;
● Demonstrate the ability to establish a distinguished research programme aligned with the University's strategic research areas;
● Commit to delivering high-quality teaching and supervision to a perse student population at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
For the Assistant Professor position, applicants should:
● Demonstrate strong potential in research and teaching that aligns with the University's strategic research areas.
