CCNU Job Openings for English Teachers  

For Applicants

1.    Qualifications:  

l  Native speaker of English;  

l  Born after 01/01/1958;

l  A Bachelor’s degree or above;

A minimum of two years’ teaching experience or holding a teaching certificate (e.g. TESOL or TEFL)2.    Job description:  

l  Subject to be taught: Language courses;

l  Teaching load: 12 hours per week.

Job duration:

From September 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017, with a one month probationary period, starting from September 1 to October 1. Contract renewable upon mutual consent. CCNU will assist successful applicants in acquiring a Z visa (work visa).

Remuneration and benefits:

Monthly Salary: RMB 4200-RMB 4500 (about $650-700)

l  A fully- furnished, air-conditioned, two-bedroom apartment free of charge;

About CCNU and English Department

Located in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province, Central China Normal University (CCNU), which was founded in 1903, is a key comprehensive university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education of People’s Republic of China. CCNU has 27 schools and over 60 research centers & institutes. It has established academic relationships and research cooperation with over 100 universities and research institutes in over 70 countries and regions, including the USA, Germany, New Zealand, Australia, Korea, Vietnam, etc.

CCNU, attaching great importance to international development, recruits a large number of professors and scholars from abroad. The School of Foreign Languages, the primary employer of foreign language experts s, employs annually about 10 English teachers in the English Department, Translation Department and College English Department.
