聘任期限和聘任待遇：

每届聘期三年，于评估后换届，可连任，但最多两届；每年在复旦大学全时工作大于9个月（特殊情况另议）；实验室主任不可兼任其他各级实验室行政领导职务。

待遇从优面议，原则上不低于复旦类似实验室主任标准；对引进人才，将充分享受学校各类从优政策。

Position: Director, The Shanghai Key Laboratory of Molecular Catalysis and Innovative Materials, FudanUniversity

The Shanghai Key Laboratory of Molecular Catalysis and Innovative Materials is a multidisciplinary research laboratory in the Chemistry Department at Fudan University, China. It was established in 2002.

As a major academic catalysis research laboratory in Shanghai, the mission of the Laboratory is to conduct creative fundamental research targeted at solving challenges of industrial interest. The main research orientations of the Laboratory are heterogeneous catalysis, synthesis and application of porous and nanoscale materials, electrochemistry, and theoretical catalysis and reaction kinetics.

In order to strengthen its scientific research and international academic impacts, the Laboratory is now seeking a new director. The applicants are expected to be international academic recognized withrelevant management skills.

Job Description:

To develop strong research teams covered all research fields and to involve the education of graduate students,

To improve the Laboratory research quality and international impacts and to promote international academic exchange,

To carry outdaily laboratory administration work.

Requirements:

The preferred candidate is expected to be research active in the research field(s) fit the Laboratory orientations with international reorganization and to haverelevant management skills. The candidate requiresto be fluent in English with no restriction on the nationality.

The successful candidate will be appointed for a three-year term, and is expected to work full-time at FudanUniversity for at least 9 months per year (except for special cases up to negotiation). The position may be renewed upon eva luation for up to 2 terms, and the director cannot concurrently hold similar management position at other place. All offers are negotiable.
