新加入上海科技大学(ShanghaiTech University)生命科学与技术学院的李夏军研究组拟招聘一名助理研究员 (Research Assistant Professor)，汇报对象为研究组PI。本研究组主要研究遗传学(genetics)和表观遗传学(epigenetics)，干细胞(stem cell)和发育生物学(developmental biology)。我们的实验室发现跟印记基因(genomic imprinting)调控有关的主要因子ZFP57 (see Dev. Cell 15, 547－557)。我们第一次在哺乳动物里发现母本(maternal function)和合子(zygotic function)的功能同时缺失会导致胚胎死亡的现象(termed maternal-zygotic embryonic lethality)。我们的这篇论文已被引用300多次。在此基础上我们研究了ZFP57在小鼠胚胎(mouse embryos)，胚胎干细胞(ES cells)和诱导干细胞(iPS cells)里维持印记基因正常表达的作用。近来我们发现ZFP57母本和合子的功能同时维持印记基因在心脏里的正常表达 (see PNAS 112(16): E2020-9)。ZFP57的缺失影响重要的NOTCH信号通路(NOTCH pathway)和心脏发育(heart development)。想进一步了解我们的研究工作请查看中文网页：http://www.shanghaitech.edu.cn/faculty/slst/people/1200.html

Research Assistant Professor position available:

The newly established Li lab at ShanghaiTech University is looking for a Research Assistant Professor to help the PI to run the lab. We are interested in epigenetic regulation in stem cells with focus on genomic imprinting. Our lab discovered Zfp57 as a master regulator in genomic imprinting. Zfp57 is a maternal-zygotic effect gene and loss of Zfp57 causes maternal-zygotic embryonic lethality, the first one identified in mammals. Recently, we found both maternal and zygotic Zfp57 modulate NOTCH signaling in cardiac development.
