About the Management Trainee Program
Our Management Trainee Program is an 18-month well-designed elite program with the following aims:
To provide you with a unique opportunity to kick off your dream career
To make you own contribution to the bank as a Management Trainee with early responsibilities
To build solid foundation for your future career development in banking industry
As MT, you are encouraged to participate in designing your own rotation plan. It is estimated that you will take on 5 to 6 rotations across the bank, including but not limited to the CEO Office, Front Office, and Control Functions. This will allow you the maximum exposure to the operations of our business and enable you to get a topline overview from the perspective of the senior management team. In addition to affluent exposure to our range of active projects and in-depth interactions with the various business units, your rotation experience will help you be acquainted with every aspect of the bank, which will surely set you up for a successful career path leading to core leadership positions in our organization.
We expect candidates to get to understand what it means to be a MT and how a MT’s responsibilities differentiate from a common employee’s during the rotation. MTs are also expected to not only excel at your daily works of your rotation departments, but also be able to examine the bank’s business model at a higher level. We value your fresh pairs of eyes and we look forward to hearing your innovative ideas.
After the rotation period, you will start an exciting journey by joining a department that is the best fit. The landing result will be based on the mutual choice between you and your desired department, which will guarantee you the best chance to reach your potentials. As your career develops, you will be involved in management level tasks and decision-making procedures, taking more responsibilities on the bank’s development and tackle the transversal “Run the Bank” and “Change the Bank” tasks in your future career. You will cover the task of finding the subtle balance between business development, risk-taking and resources allocation.

What We Offer
Structured Training Curriculum
Strong emphasis is put on the value of direct education, with a structured curriculum throughout the 18- month program designed to continuously develop your technical, interpersonal and presentation skills. This will come in the form of classroom training, in-house sharing sessions and e-learning modules.
Exposure to Senior Management
A considerable proportion of senior management members stood out from Management Trainee Program, who love to share their precious experience through our Mentor-mentee Scheme without any reservation. Also, regular access to Human Resources Business Partners and business leaders would be accessible for coaching and advice, while constructive feedback will enable you to better measure your performance.
On-the-job Experience
We believe that learning through doing is a vital step to develop your expertise. As such, you will gain comprehensive experience while rotating in Front Office and Back Office during the 18 months, allowing you to develop all the necessary skills as well as a full picture of our advanced banking model before moving into the long-term job placement that will best correspond to your competencies and personality.
Career Development
After successful completion of the 18 months rotational program, Management Trainees will be on track for increased responsibilities and career growth opportunities. They will be promoted and integrated into one specific team which corresponds the best to their profile within the bank.
Who We are Looking for
Final year students or recent graduates of Bachelor or Master degree from any disciplines with excellent academic results and following valued merits:
Commitment to developing a long-term career in the banking industry;
Great commercial acumen;
Self-motivation and ability to work under pressure;
Openness to embrace different ideas and cultures;
Competency in the aspect of leadership, problem solving, critical thinking, innovation, and interpersonal communication;
Willingness to be relocated to different cities in China;
