Position Descript ion
The Accommodation Assistant will support
the Accommodation Office Manager in providing daily routine work on campus.
Detailed duties and responsibilities are as follows.
Duties and Responsibilities
·To manage the
day to day accommodations of GTIIT (both staff, faculty and students) including
allocation, day-to-day management, check in/out, change requests according to
university regulations;
·Responsible
to compile regular reports on room availability, occupied rooms, waiting list,
arrivals and departure etc.;
·Manage all
tenancy contracts;
·Assist in
providing accommodation support on events when required;
·Communicate
effectively with Student Affairs or other related department to allocate
or reallocate beds for undergraduate and graduate students according to the
Housing Contract and Student Code of Conduct;
·Communicate
effectively with Student Affairs & Property Management Company to
manage move in and move out process both for students and faculty;
·Conduct
timely review and completion of accommodation/resident handbooks or other
service information and distribute it to residents properly;
· Generate the
utilities bill for the students and faculty, make sure that bill was paid off
or deducted by Finance & HR;
·Strict
management on the key duplication and usage;
·Semi-annual
reports on replacement of aged kitchen wares, beddings and broken furniture;
·Ensure the
accommodation office equipped to provide appropriate advice and information to
students & faculty;
·Supervise the
Property Assistant to prepare the apartments as required and inspect their work
regularly;
·Undertaking
other duties not specifically stated which from time to time are necessary, and
be able to work flexibly, evening and weekend work essential around move in
dates of student and faculty;
·Be able to
handle with the inquiry and problems raised by residents in a proper way;
·Complete
other tasks assigned by immediate supervisors.
Required Job Specifications
·Required
qualification: bachelor degree or above from an internationally recognized
university.
· Required
work experience: preferably 1-2 years’ work experience in customer service or
accommodation management.

English and Chinese;
·Responsible,
patient, detail-oriented;
·Multi-task
skills;
·Good
Microsoft Office skills;
·Good
interpersonal skill to work in an international, cross-cultural work
environment.
