You will be based at BASF Shanghai Coatings in China. During the first 12 months on-the-job training in China, you will be able to integrate quickly into the company and get a first overview about the Coatings products and processes. The training in Europe afterwards will offer you the chance to become familiar with the variety of our worldwide company operations and to prepare yourself for your future assignment at BASF Shanghai Coatings in China. Additionally, you will have the possibility to be well connected within the global organization, thanks to a wide range of networking events and through ongoing support from your personal guide and mentor.

After your training, you are ready to focus on winning and binding customers through application-based technical support on the customer site. You are responsible to coordinate technical activities internally and with the customer to meet customers´ requirements and follow up technical projects within your assigned account.

What we expect

We are looking for motivated candidates who will work with business and technology interfaces and continually develop the company through their commitment. You have an overseas above-average Master degree in a chemical-related subject or equivalent overseas experience. An MBA is a plus. In addition to your strong communication skills in Chinese and English, your German skills will be considered as a plus. You show great management/leadership potential, have a high intercultural orientation and you are aware of topics regarding safety, health and the environment. You have advanced experience with Windows and MS Office packages.
